Songs that smell like the ocean
Elias writes the way the boardwalk feels at dusk — a little worn, a little glowing. We tracked these songs the same week they were finished, before the edges could dull.
Guitar and voice went down together, no click, no fixes. You can hear the room, the street outside, and once, faintly, the Cyclone.

How it was recorded
Two microphones, one reel of tape, eight songs, two days. Elias sat on a stool in the middle of the room and played each song start to finish until the take felt like the evening it was written in.
We mixed with almost nothing — a little EQ, a little room, and the discipline to leave the silences alone. The vinyl cut is all-analog from the session reels.
